The Quality Assurance Institute has for more than 21 years been a net contributor to the community at large. The Quality Assurance Institute Middle East and Africa is proud to carry on this tradition. We are actively involved in the following community programs:
P J Corum, CSQA, CSTE the Managing Director of QAI MEA, has completed his training for both Assessor and Lead Assessor for the Dubai Quality Award. He participated in assessments during 2001 and 2002.
P J Corum, CSQA, CSTE. the Managing Director of QAI MEA was a founding member of the IT Sub-Group for the Dubai Quality Group. He is currently serving his second year as the Chairperson.
Middle East Software Process Improvement Network Chapter
The Quality Assurance Institute Middle East and Africa has been granted authorization by the Software Engineering Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, USA, to establish the first Software Process Improvement Network (SPIN) chapter in the Gulf Region. We are working with representatives from the government, academia, and the private sector to ensure the support necessary for a successful chapter.
International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC)2
(ISC)2 is a global, not-for-profit organization that administers training and certification examinations, maintains the Common Body of Knowledge for Information Security, ensures credentials are maintained through continuing education and certifies industry professionals and practitioners in an international information security standard.
Members of the QAI MEA security team volunteer as Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) examination proctors and supervisors.
International Systems Security Association (ISSA)
QAI MEA is working with information security professionals in the Emirates to create the Dubai Chapter of ISSA. The Dubai Chapter will be an excellent networking and educational tool for the large information security community located in the Emirates. Here are 10 Reasons to Join ISSA.

QAI MEA is a member of the American Business Council of Dubai & the Northern Emirates. ABC's main goal is to promote the development of commerce and investment between the United States of America and Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
